As it sometimes appens with Microsoft error messages, this one was not relevant to my coding problem.
It can be usefull to know that in my case, the problem was a missing assembly in my solution. It had been properly compiled but the utilities assembly had been deleted or something like that.
A property of the web part has a bad type... blablabla
